Terms of Service

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. We delete accounts that belong to anyone younger. You confirm this with a tick box when you sign up. If you are under 18 (once we accept under-18s), your parent or guardian must give consent on PitchVault first, and accepts these Terms on your behalf.

Players sign in with their phone number and a one-time code sent by SMS. Scouts and agents sign in with a code sent by email. Keep access to your phone and email secure — anyone who can receive your codes can use your account.

The information in your profile must be true and about you. Don't create accounts for other people or pretend to be someone else.

You keep ownership of everything you upload.

By uploading a clip, you give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store it, process it, show it on PitchVault (including on your Vault Card, on your public card page, and to verified scouts once scout access opens), and let you share it. This licence ends when you delete the clip or your account, except for copies we must keep for legal reasons.

When you upload a clip, you confirm that:

• you filmed it, or you have permission from whoever did;
• the people who can be clearly identified in it are OK with it being shared — and for anyone under 18, their parent or guardian is;
• it shows football, not anything else.

• Violent, sexual, hateful or abusive content, or content that bullies anyone.
• Footage of other people used without their permission.
• Content you don't have the right to share, such as TV broadcasts.
• Contacting other users to harass them, or for anything other than football.
• Trying to access other people's accounts or data, or interfering with how PitchVault works.

Every clip is checked automatically before it goes live. We can remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules, with or without notice.

If you appear in a clip without agreeing to it, or you see something that breaks these rules, email us at info@pitchvault.org. We aim to review reports within 72 hours and remove content that shouldn't be there.

Scout access opens on a date we announce. Scouts and agents must be verified before they can see player profiles or send contact requests. To verify you we may ask for an ID document, for agents a football agent licence, and for scouts a work email address or a letter from their organisation, and we may refuse or withdraw verification at any time. PitchVault does not guarantee that any player will be scouted, contacted, offered a trial or signed.

Some features need a paid subscription (for example, PitchVault Elite). Prices are shown in US dollars before you pay. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your full card details.

Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel any time, and you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for. We don't refund partial periods, except where the law requires it.

Founding perk and saved cards. Until scouts join PitchVault, players can upload up to 5 clips a month instead of 1. We may later ask new players to save a card to keep this; saving a card costs nothing. When scouts join, the first 500 players with a live clip (founding members) get 3 months of Elite free. After those 3 months, if your card is still saved, your Pro plan ($4.99 a month) starts and your card is charged each month until you cancel. We will remind you 7 days before the first charge. You can remove your card at any time in Settings; you are then never charged, and your account goes back to the free plan when your free period ends.

You can delete your account at any time in Settings, or ask us to by emailing info@pitchvault.org. We'll delete your profile and clips as described in our Privacy Policy. We may close accounts that break these terms.

We work to keep PitchVault running and your data safe, but the service is provided "as is" and may sometimes be unavailable. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses, or for what other users do or say. Nothing in these terms limits any responsibility that cannot legally be limited.

We may update these terms. If the changes are significant, we'll tell you in the app before they take effect. The date at the top shows the latest version.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
